Calves in Canada are raised in a cold climate and consume more dairy protein than calves in many other parts of the world. The quality of the food they eat directly affects the appearance and texture of their hide. Canadian calf hide is finely structured and uniform, lending itself to high-end leather goods.
Our calfskins are carefully examined and weighed before being sorted by weight and quality. No more than 20% of our hides are classified as grade #2.
